Water Ch. 156 - When It Hurts; Breathe

They both are sitting on the counter, with the plate of mango chicken between them.  They are picking and talking, about any and everything, avoiding what they need to discuss.  He keeps looking at her, looking for a sign that she really missed him.  He knows that she missed him and he hopes that she knows that her missed her, cause right now felt right.  He pulls off a piece of the cold chicken and feds it to her.  She gently bites down on his finger, and that scares him a little bit.  She laughed so hard, chicken came out of her mouth.  Still laughing, she says "I'm sorry, I couldn't resist."

Water Ch. 155 - Can I Be Happy Now?

The urge to wake her up is almost more than I can handle.  She is so beautiful laying there, in the tank top that she knows I love.  There she is, the mother of my twins and the biggest pain in my ass.

Water Ch. 152 - Kings Ransom In Dimes

Jon put all of the kids to bed before he headed back to his office, to take care of some bills and other things that required his attention.  Powering up his laptop, he looks over his shoulder at the picture of Beth and Romeo.  He smiles a half smile and suddenly misses her even more.

Water Ch. 151 - When It Hurts Just To Talk

Communication between Beth and Jon was non existent for almost three weeks, until she decided to send him an email just hours before a scheduled ultrasound.

Water Ch. 150 - I'll Take This One On The Chin

The night was long for Jon,  restlessness and anxiety kept him up, tossing and turning.  Throughout the night he ran all possible scenarios through his mind and cannot come up with the answer that Beth did.  How does anything that went on or happened equal up to walking away?  His math doesn't match hers, and he's exhausted trying to figure it out.  He understands that they have been through alot and he hates that it's all happened, but what did she really want?  A life of seclusion, in bubble wrap?  He's a rock star, a man of importance - he has things that he has to do.  Laying on her side of the bed, he looks out the window and watches the sun rise, through some trees, over the ocean.  It's a beautiful start to the morning, and the end of him trying to sleep.  He tells himself that he'll go to bed early.
