Water Ch. 102 - Starting All Over Again

Guests were shuttled from nearby parking lots to the house, in an effort to hide the fact that anyone was at Jon's house.  There were no decorations on the outside, front of the house, the party was in tents on the back lawn.  Mrs B had the place looking absolutely breathtaking.  Candles, lights, balloons and streamers were everywhere and anyone that was anyone important; to the Bongiovi's, was going to be there.

Water Ch. 101 - Fear

Startled by the sound of her assistants voice, Beth looks up to see Tammy standing in the door way.

"What's up?"  Beth asks her devoted assistant and friend.  "Do you need me for something?

Water Ch. 100 - Water Into Wine

He kept calling and calling, and she continued to ignore it.  She finally turned her cell phone off and lowered the volumn on her answering machine  He would call her cell phone, and then her home phone.  Message after message.........she can't listen to it.  She's running many of his possible excuses through her mind and she has yet to come up with one that she would accept.  She can't live a life like this.  She should be able to know that he can be around Dorothea and she can trust him.  Trust him, how can I trust someone that I literally just met?  The conversation that she's having with herself now, is one she should have had weeks ago, but didn't.  How can she put so much into a man like Jon?  He is wonderful and she knows that he loves her - but to what extent is the newest question.  Did he not love her enough to call her and tell her why he wasn't coming home?

Jon is back in New Jersey now and Richie is with him.  They had a week of Soul appearances and interviews, so Richie was in town.  This time, without Ava.  The guys are sitting at the table talking and Richie can see that his best friend is troubled.

"Dude,  what the hell is going on?  You keep calling her and leaving messages.  What happened?" Richie asks his best friend, as a good best friend would do.

Jon looks at Richie with a look of, what the hell do I do and he starts with, "I left her last night at the airport and flew the kids out to Dot.  Beth stayed in the city and went home.  When I got out to the Hampton's to drop the kids off, I sat on the couch in the main living room and fell asleep.  Dorothea left me there all night.  Told the kids to 'leave daddy alone, he's really tired', so the kids never even woke me up.  Dot woke me up about 9:00 and told me Beth had called.  I asked Dot what she had said, and Dot said she just told Beth I was sleeping and hung up.  I haven't been able to get ahold of Beth since I woke up." Jon sounds defeated.

Richie chuckles, "THAT is what has your panties in a bunch?  You're stressing over that?"

"You have no idea what we've gone through in just the last couple of days.  She's pregnant, Richie.  And now she's probably thinking I slept with Dorothea.  She isn't at her New York apartment and not answering or returning my calls.  I believe she went back to LA." He hangs his head.

"Man, you know this won't last.  The two of you are meant to be together.  I assume she's pretty pissed that you.....you're gonna have another baby? Man that is so cool!" Richie smiles his bug smile at Jon and is truly thrilled about it. Richie always wanted more children of his own, but it didn't seem to be in his cards.

"Thanks, we just found out a couple of days ago.  The only one that knows are my parent, please don't tell anyone!  I don't know what to do.  I can't just drop everything and run out there, again.  I'm always the one going after her."  Jon confides in Richie and reads the look on his face.  Richie could not believe that Jon said he wouldn't go after her?

"So, don't go after her.  Let her know what happened and let her come to you.  I'm sure when she finds out, she'll feel like an ass and come to you.  Women always do that.  Act first and then think later.  And trust me, I know women."

Jon shakes his head a little and says, "I don't know about this one, Rich.  She's a tough one to figure out.  I need to find out if she's back in California."

"I'll call Denise and have her stop by, to say hi.  Her and Beth aren't close, but having her drop by won't seem out of the ordinary.  Hang on, I'll call her."  Richie picks up his cell phone and calls his assistant, Denise Salazar.  Denise agrees to run by on her way to the gym, she'll let Richie knows how it goes.    "Ok, Denise will drop by Beth's, we'll know soon enough if she's back in LA."

Beth and Denise became friendly when ever they were together backstage.  They liked one another and got along pretty good.  Beth wouldn't think that anything was 'up' if Denise just stopped by.  Beth might in fact, enjoy the visit.

Jon and Richie get back to the task at hand, trying to decide on next years uniforms, both home and away.  It was a menial task, but one that football team owners need to do.  The wrong uniforms could make or break a team.  They sat there and discussed colors, logo design changes - but Jon couldn't concentrate, couldn't focus.  And that was starting to irritate Richie.  Richie gets up from the table, "Do you want a drink?  I need one, you are stressing me the fuck out."

"Maybe I should, maybe that will help with the tension I feel between my shoulders.  I'm sorry, Rich - I just can't handle this.  I don't know how to act, I have never been in a situation like this.  I have always been the one chased after."  Jon gets up and looks out the window, he thought he had seen a car pull in, and he did.  It was just more fans stopping by and checking out JBJ's house.  The Shoe in is close to the road, but far enough away so fans can't see in the window.  "Why do they drive by?  There are pictures of this place all over the Internet.  Do they think they are going to see me?"  Jon's getting irritated, by everything.  He knows it's because of Beth and his lack of communication.  He needs to talk to her.  He needs her to know what really happened.

Richie pours them both two fingers of Jack Daniels, hands one to Jon and says, "Bottoms up.  That's the way I like 'em."  And Richie gulped down his drink, with the sound of fire coming from his gut, upon exhale.  "Whoa, I won't do that again.  I forgot how nasty that stuff is."  Jon chuckles and follows suit.  Agreeing that the stuff was bad.

The two of them continued with the Soul business that needed to be tended to, when Jon remembers he had laid a few tracks and he wanted Richie to hear them.  ""Oh shit, I can't believe I forgot - I put down some new tracks with some lyrics for the next album, wanna hear them?"  Jon walks toward the door that leads into the control room of the studio.  Richie follows him.

Sitting in the chairs that they have sat in, time after time, the two of them know what buttons they need to turn on, turn up and control.  Jon cues up "Summertime", and for some reason, he's a little nervous, maybe a little embarrassed.  Jon knows that the songs he 's recorded and written already are not the normal for Bon Jovi.  But Bon Jovi needs to change some things up a little bit.  Richie liked Summertime, in fact, he added a few lines - changed a note or two and laid down some guitar.  Jon and Richie were in the studio working on the Lost Highway album and both of them lost all track of time.

When Richie heard what Jon had recorded for 'Seat Next To You', he was speechless.  He couldn't believe that Jon came up with the lyrical gold on his own.  "Jon, where did THAT come from?"  Referring to the lyrics for the song.  "Those lyrics can apply to anyone in every situation.....asking for someone to save a seat.  Makes me think of heaven."   Richie is impressed, but he knows that good lyrics deserve great music, and he tells Jon, "When we get done with the interview and photo shoot with the guys today, we're finishing this song.  We can get it written and have Dave and Tico lay there parts tomorrow."  Jon sees Richie's excitement and feels bad that he isn't sharing it.  Usually, the two of them share in this, but not today.

Meanwhile, in Los Angeles Beth is unpacking her suitcase, like she's done for what seems like a million times in the past month or so.  And she's thinking, as she puts her luggage in storage, 'I won't be getting you out for a while.'  With the unpacking done, she puts her clothes in the laundry and goes to find a snack.  She isn't hungry, but she knows she has to eat.  In the kitchen, sucking on a GoGurt, she decides to start making a list.  She needs groceries and a few things around the house.  When she finishes that, she walks through the house and sees the remnants from the Bongiovi visit.  She missed the kids already and she wondered what Jon was going to tell them.  Will he be honest or will he make something up?  That broke her heart.  She had just made plans with Stephanie for a girls day and her dad ruined that for both of them.  She needed to shake the loneliness and the heartbreak off and try to make the rest of her day productive.  She was heading back to work tomorrow to bury herself in the numbers and the headache of spending other people's money.  Maybe she would call a meeting with her staff, and explain what's been going on with her.  As a VP at Deloitte, her personal life has been pretty secret.  She needed to be more open and personable with her staff.   She wanted everyone to feel important  at Deloitte.  At the very least, she will pull something good from this terrible experience.  She will become a better person, and help as many as she can - she needed to be more receptive to other people thoughts and feelings and she needed to stop keeping people at an arm's length.  She was going to be a mother, and other than Tammy, she was all alone.

She finished her yogurt and went to clean up a little bit.  She splashed water on her face, brushed her teeth and decided she would go into the office for a little bit.  Shoes on, bag and keys in hand, cell phone on again and in her bag - she heads to the door.  Reaching for the lock, the doorbell rings.  She's startled, she jumps and she thinks real quick to herself, 'There's no way he's here this fast.'  And she runs the time through her mind.  The doorbell chimes again.  Beth unlocks the door and opens it and is happy to see Denise standing there.

"Oh my gosh, what are you doing here?"  Beth asks, smiling.

Denise prepared her lie before getting there, "I was in the neighborhood, thought I'd stop by."

"Come in, come in."  Beth steps back and Denise comes in.  Beth leads her to the living room and the sit down.  "What a pleasant surprise.  How are you?"

"Is this a bad time?  I see you have your purse and keys in your hand, do you want me to go?"  Denise asks, seeing that Beth looks like she was leaving.

Beth puts her keys and purse on the coffee table and says, "I just got back from New York, I was going to head into the office for a little while. You're good, can I get you anything to drink?"

Denise declines a beverage and asks, "What were you doing in New York?  If I would have known you were going to be there, I would have gone with Richie."

"Richie is in New York?" Beth questions, a little shocked.  She had no idea.

"Him and Jon are doing appearances and stuff for their arena football team.  PR.  I didn't need to go. Thankfully, I just wanted to stay home and be normal for a while."  Denise starts to tell her, "It's bad enough that we leave next weekend for a six country European tour.  I am ready for an off tour year."

"Next weekend?'

"Yeah, didn't Jon tell you?"

"He told me yesterday that he had to leave, but didn't say when.  I guess I assumed it wasn't right around the corner."  Beth is certain that Denise can hear a little bit of anger in her voice.  "How long is it?"

Denise can sense something, "You just came back from New York?  How come?  The tour is only 2 weeks, it's just the traveling that makes it suck."

"We flew out there yesterday after having the kids here.  I flew home today because I have had enough of the rock star lifestyle.  I have had my fill."  Beth chuckles, trying to lighten the mood, but Denise knows her well enough and has heard enough about Beth to know that something is up.

"Are you going to tell me what's really going on?"  Denise is done playing nice.  She can see it all over Beth's face that she needs to talk.

Jon and Richie flew to Philly and made their appearance, took care of business and were on their way back to Red Bank when Jon's phone rang.  He took it out of his coat pocket and seen that it was Stephanie.  Immediately answering it, he says, "Talk to me gorgeous."

"Dad, stop.  Can I talk to Beth?  She's not answering her phone."

"Steph, she's not with me.  I haven't seen her or talked to her all day.  I'm sorry."

"What do you mean dad?  Where is she?"

"I think she's back in Los Angeles.  I'm not sure though, like I said I haven't talked to her.  What's up?" he asks her.  He doesn't want to have this conversation with her, but he can't avoid it either.

"Dad, why would she be in L.A.?  What did you do?" she's getting angry at her dad now.  She feels like he's playing a game with her.

Jon knows he has to be honest, because that's what he would want from Stephanie.  "She called my cell phone this morning and your mom answered it.  I assume she's mad about that and the fact that I slept on the couch last night.  But, I haven't talked to her.  So, I can't say for sure.  What's up, is everything okay Stephanie?" He firms up his voice, letting her know that he's still her dad.

"Dad, you have to fix this.  We are going shopping this weekend." Stephanie is now talking to her dad like she might talk to a friend that she's pissed at. "Never mind, I'll keep calling her.  Maybe she's done being mad at you and will talk to me?"  Stephanie hangs up the phone and tries Beth again.

Beth is sitting there with Denise, playing catch up and get to know you.  She hears her phone vibrate and looks at who it is.  Stephanie, 4 times - so she answers it.  "Hi Steph, how are you?"

"I'm fine, where are you Beth?"  She hits her right out of the gate.

"Stephanie, I am back home in L.A., what's up?"  Beth asks her, genuinely concerned.

"My dad said that you were mad because my mom answered his phone.  Beth, he was passed out on the couch and my mom told us all to let him sleep.  With the way mom is, we listened to her.  She's being really weird lately.  I don't know why she would have answered his phone, she did it to be a bitch to you.  Don't be mad at dad, please.  He was just exhausted and passed out on the couch.  I covered him with a blanket around midnight.  When we got back from that stupid play, we could hear his snores from outside.  Please call my dad."  She's pleading.  Stephanie really likes Beth and she isn't ready for her to be out of her life.

"How about I think about it?  Will that work?  I have alot on my mind and I have company right now.  Can I call you back?" Beth tries to calm Steph down a little bit and she succeeded.  They hung up the phone and Denise had the look of 'what the hell is going on' on her face.  So Beth told her.

"Beth, let me tell you this, Richie is my best friend and my employer, and I know alot about you and Jon.  And I can tell you this, you are way off base if you think anything happened last night.  That is not the Jon that he's become since before he met you.  He loves you, all of you.  Even all of your quirks.  And I hear you have alot.  But anyway, nothing happened with Jon and Dot last night.  There would be a better chance of me having sex with Jon, and that will NEVER happen.  Call him.  You really need to call him."

"It just always seems to be something when it comes to Dorothea.  I know they are getting divorced and it's to be final in a few weeks, but he never called.  That's what pisses me off.  I woke up in my apartment alone.  No call, nothing.  I was crushed."  Beth tried to get Denise to understand, but she sees that's not happening.  "Can I tell you something in confidence Denise?"

Denise nods her head yes and tells Beth, "Of course. I am legally bound from saying anything that happens in the bands life, or the branches of their life.  You're protected.  What's up?"

Beth takes a deep breath and slowly begins to tell Beth that her and Jon just found out that they were pregnant.  The look on Denise's face was all she needed to see.  Denise smiled SO big, it made Beth think that Denise acted like it was her that found out that she was pregnant.  She hugged her and congratulated her.  "How did Jon take the news?"

"Jon gave me the impression that he was excited and thrilled about it, but then he does a disappearing act and sleeps over at Dorothea's.  I don't understand that, that isn't acceptable, Denise."

Denise takes her friends hand and says, "Please don't make any decisions or change you life course over this.  I know in my heart of hearts that nothing happened.  It's just as Stephanie said.  And Steph would not lie about it.  Call him.  I'll leave and finish my errands and when I leave, call him. Please, for me.  The two of you belong together."

Denise gets up and makes her way to the front door.  Beth is behind her and she tells her goodbye.  As Denise walks away, she hollers to Beth, "CALL HIM!"

Beth waves and goes back inside.  She grabs her phone ans picks it up.  She pulls up Jon's contact and presses send, but hangs up right away.  She can't do it, she's not ready.  She isn't ready to go to NYC and pretend that this didn't happen.  She needs to clear her head and get HER life back in order.  Being the girlfriend of a rock star wansn't easy in anyway, and she didn't like the feeling that she was the one that had to sacrifice.

A few days go by and Stephanie called Beth again, while she was at the office.  Beth was a little shocked, but Steph must have needed to talk.  Beth gave her her phone number for that very reason.

Chapter 100

I've been working this one in my mind.  I promise, it won't take too long.  Sitting here eating dinner alone and the words just flow....Richie, a new baby, a new friend AND a new home.....

Thank you, to all of you that take the time  to read this mindless dribble. I love and appreciate your emails and your feedback!! Beth will win in the end, but her struggles will get worse.

Water Ch. 99 - Army of One

Reaching over and feeling the cold sheets of an empty spot was one of the rudest awakenings Beth has ever had.  Sitting up and looking around, there is no sign of Jon.

Water Ch. 98 - Welcome to Wherever You Are

It wasn't easy shopping after being served by a process server, but they tried.  Walking around the Garment District wasn't as fun as they each remember it to be.  Beth finally asked Jon, "What time is it?" She sounds defeated and suddenly exhausted.  Her phone is tucked in her purse and she didn't want to dig for it.

Water Ch. 97 - Something To Believe In

"Ok, I'll see you there." is what Beth hears as she wakes up.  Opening her eyes, she looks to where Jon's voice came from.  He's standing at the window, looking out at the river.

"Good morning." she mumbles and he turns around.  She rubs her eyes and sits up, yawning.  Jon walks over to her and kisses her good morning.  "What time is it?" she asks.

Water Ch. 96 - Let's Make It Baby

She wraps her arms around him, letting him know that he is exactly what she needs right now.  The passion only increases with each cell that they share, with each beat of their hearts.  She runs her fingers up through the back of his hair and he reads that as a wonderful thing.

Water Ch. - 95 Breathe

She can't hide the tears in her eyes or the happiness in her heart.  Mrs. Bongiovi throws her arms around both Beth and Jon and says, "Are you sure?  Have you been to a doctor?", hanging on to them both not wanting to let go.

Water Ch. 94 - Rosie

Jon can't remember having butterflies like he has right now.  They just dropped the kids off at Matt's house, so the kids could play for a little while.  Jon called Matt from the plane and asked if he could keep the kids for a little bit, explaining that he needed to talk to their mother, and it wasn't something that he wanted the kids there for.  Naturally Matt agreed, he loved having the kids over.   He usually got in trouble for feeding them too much sugar, but he didn't care.  He was the coolest uncle, in his mind.

Water Ch. 93 - Captain Crash

She couldn't stand the thought of him leaving, they all just got there.  One night wasn't enough.  She wanted him and the kids to stay, but the look on his face told her that he needed to go.  She has no idea what he has going on back at home.  Since she heard the words, you're pregnant, that's all she could really think about.  She knows that she has spaced out and Jon has had to reel her back in, but he thought that was cute.  Is she driving him away?

Water Ch -92 Have A Nice Day

The day that they spent together as a family, was a great day.  Beth was able to see Jon really interact with his kids, she was able to get to know them a little better and they both were able to see that the time has proven, they will mesh great as a family.

Water Ch. 91 - 99 In The Shade

Everyone helped with the breakfast mess and pitched in with doing the dishes.  Beth washed the dishes, Romeo and Jake rinsed them and Jon dried, with Stephanie putting them away.  Jesse felt he needed to shower first, so he showered.

Water Ch. 90 - Ballad of Youth

Beth woke to the faint sound of someone playing the piano.  She reached over, felt the coolness of his pillow and realized Jon was gone.  The light was out, but the television was on.  She sat up and listened some more.   It was beautiful, whatever he was playing.  She got up, grabbed her robe and went downstairs.  He had heard her coming, so he stopped playing.

Water Ch 89 - I'm With You

There was a knock on the door and when Beth heard it, her heart started to race.  She didn't think it was the kids, but it could be.  She ran to answer the door and found out that it was Tammy, with her arms full of groceries.  Beth grabbed some of the bags and led the way into the kitchen.  The ladies were taking care of the groceries, when Beth hears Jon open her bedroom door.  The women are standing there, when he rounds the corner - naked.  Beth says, "JON!"

Water Ch. 88 - Army of One

Seeing her cry, made him want to cry, she wanted to die. He walked up to her, grabbed her and asked, "What are you crying for? Are you not happy about it?"  He holds her tight, letting her know he was there for her and that he's happy about it.

Water Ch. 87 - Shut Up And Kiss Me

When Beth finally made it home, she was so relieved.  She needed to call Jon and talk to him.  What a day she had had.  To think that someone in the position that Mr. Thompson was in would do something so stupid.  Take up her time and Tammy's time like that.  She was just pissed off, and she needed to talk to Jon.  She wanted to talk to Jon.

Kicking off her shoe and taking off her air cast, she limped into the kitchen and set her bags on the floor.  She dug her phone out of her purse and set that on the counter.  She needed a drink, she wanted a drink.  One glass of wine, she thought.  I would love just one glass of wine.

Opening her refrigerator, she pulls out the bottle of orange juice and pours herself a glass.  Grabbing her glass and her phone, she walks down the hallway into her bedroom.

Flipping the light on, she sees the picture of her and Brian on the dresser.  The dresser that they bought and refinished together.  Beth's bedroom suite was old Victorian and the bed was a canopy bed that they stripped all the finish off and just sealed the wood.  The natural wood look gave the bed a beauty that had been hidden for years under the paint.  Amanda had designed the canopy, merging a white lace with a turquoise lace and it was just beautiful.  It flowed over the canopy and down the posts and Beth really loved it when the wind would blow and it would flow in the wind.  She loved that suite and she'll never part with it.

The weather was windy, so Beth opened her bedroom windows.  She loved the ocean air filling her house, specially at night.  She was so tired and so distracted, she didn't notice that the light was flashing on her answering machine.  She set her phone and juice down on her nightstand and went into the bathroom and washed the day off of her.  She's wondering why she's not heard from Jon.  She checked her cell phone, but forgot to check her answering machine.  But she didn't think Jon would call that number anyway, he knew she wasn't at home.  She needed to relax, she needed time to clear her head and make sense of the changes that are going to happen, within her life.

She stripped from her Calvin Klein suit and into a pair of shorts and a Bon Jovi tshirt that some hot rock star gave her.  She was getting ready to climb into bed, and put a period on the day.  She washed her face and was getting ready to brush her teeth when she heard a bang out in what she thought was the kitchen.  She thought maybe her purse had fallen off the counter or her bag fell over on the floor.  Walking down the hallway, she seen Jon sitting in her formal living room, on the couch with his feet on her coffee table.  He scared her half to death.

"What the hell are you doing?  Trying to give me a heart attack?" She blurts at him.   Thrilled to see him.  How does he know just when and where to appear.  She loved him so much!

Looking up at her, he asks, "What are you going to do, kill me with your toothbrush?" He's laughing at her now.  He can see that her fear went quickly to anger and then to happiness.  Beth dropped her toothbrush on the floor and jumped on him.  She was so happy to see him.  She started kissing his face and telling him she was so happy to see him.  Kissing all over him, he pulls her back a little bit and says, "Hi.  How are you?" He puts his pen and paper down.

"Shut up and kiss me!" she grabs his face.  He's still laughing at her, he thinks this is so adorable.  He's never had anyone love him like she does.  She loves him with everything and he feels it.  "What are you doing here?  When did you get here?  Why didn't you tell me you were coming?"  She's still so shocked.

"Well, I woke up this morning with a hell of a headache, and I wondered what would make me feel better and I decided that you would." He's running a finger up one side of her face and down the other.  He is head over heals in love with this woman.  "Nice shirt."

She's beaming, ear to ear, "Why didn't you tell me you were coming?"

"I wanted it to be a surprise."

She throws her arms around his neck and says, "Thank you.  I have missed you so much.  What are you doing sitting in here in the dark?"

"It wasn't dark in here until just a few minutes ago.  I was writing a song.  How could you not see me when you walked by?  I was tapping my pen on my pad.  Didn't you notice the toilet seat was up?"   He can't help laugh at her.  "I love you."

"Jon, I have had the day from hell, you have no idea.  When I walked in the door, all I wanted was my bed." she tells him.

He grabs her hand, "Tell me about your day, what happened?"  He wanted to hear everything she was willing to tell him.  He loved to listen and watch her talk.  Beth told him about the bullshit trip and what that Mr. Thompson had done, and he looked pissed. He was pissed that she was called away for this guy to get a look at the women that stole Jon Bon Jovi from his wife and family.  "Babe, I'm sorry about that."

"Why are you apologizing?"

"Well, I'm sorry that it happened.  Things like that happen."  he tells her, and it's the truth.  People will want to get to know her, because of who she's connected to.  "Do you want me to call Warren?" He grabs his cell phone and she grabs it from him.

"No, I don't want you calling him, Jon.  I'm a big girl.  I'll have a conversation with Mr. Buffett soon."  She sets his phone on the coffee table, takes his hand and says, "Come on, we're going to bed."

Jon being the funny guy that he can be, drags his feet and says, "Mom, I don't wanna go to bed.  I want to eat something first."  She stops in the hallway and tells him to go find something to eat.

He went in the kitchen and found a snack.  She went in the bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed and finished her juice.  When Jon had what he wanted, he came in and joined her on the bed.  Handing her a glass of wine, he told her, "We're out.  We need to go to the Vineyard and get more."

She took the glass and said, "Thank you.  I just had orange juice, so this would taste bad.  You drink it." and she smiles, and the butterflies woke up.

"Ok, you don't have to tell me twice." He takes the glass back and sits next to her on the bed.  Beth takes the lotion off her night stand and squirts some into her hand.

Rubbing the lotion in, she looks to her rock star and asks him, "Where are the kids?  Isn't tonight your night?"

Jon kind of chokes on the food that he has in his mouth and says, "Yeah, about that.  They are at Disney with Lupetta.  They should be here in," he looks at his watch, "about two hours."

Beth didn't know what to say.  She looked at him, "The kids are coming here?"  She can't believe those words came out of her mouth.  "Jon, they're coming here?"

"Do you mind?  I can take them to a hotel if you do?" he asks her, with a little bit of shock in his voice.

She gets up off the bed, puts her slippers on and says, "I don't have beds made for them.  I don;t have kid friendly food.  Come on, we have to go make beds and go to the corner store."  She leaves the bedroom and goes into the first spare bedroom.  She flips the light on and realizes, that bed is covered with new clothes she has never worn.  "Jon, come help me."

He rounds the corner and says, "I'm right here.  What do yo need me to do?"

Beth whips around and asks, "Does their mother know they're here?"  Does she know they're going to sleep here?"

"Babe, relax.  Yes, she knows.  She's okay with it. I told her that I was going to come out just to see you for even a few minutes and she suggested to bring Lupetta and the kids.  Romeo asked about Disney, so I put them in a car to Disney and I came here to write.  Lupetta called me a few minutes ago and said they would be leaving the park in about an hour, and then it's about an hour drive."  He walked up to her, "Is this okay?"

She sat on the edge of the clothes covered bed and said, "It's more than okay.  It's pretty awesome." She's having his kids in her house for the first time and she is so not prepared, but she didn't care.  It was all going to work out.  She had plenty of room, she only needed a few minutes to put stuff away and do a little child proofing, for Romeo.  Slapping her knees and getting up, she says, "I better get busy.  You go to the store and get what they like to eat.  My keys are in my purse."  And she leaves that room and goes into the next one.

Jon follows her out but head toward the kitchen.  He yells to Beth, "Is there anything that you want me to get?"  He grabs her purse and reaches in for her keys and feels a pill bottle.  Pulls it out and reads the contents.  He froze.  He thought.  He reacted.  He's thinking, Oh my God, she's having my baby................

He walked to the doorway of Beth's second bedroom, holds up the prenatal vitamins and asks, "Is there something you want to tell me?"  With the biggest smile on his face.

She turns to look at him and couldn't respond.  She was speechless.  He's not supposed to find out this way.  She starts to cry.

Water Ch. 86 - Hush

Beth and Tammy land up in Napa Valley at 8:00 pm.  That's 11:00 where Jon is at.  When her and Tammy get into the car and head to the airport, Beth gets her phone out and calls Jon.  After 3 rings, it goes to voicemail. "This is Jon Bon Jovi, I am unable to get to the phone.  Please leave your name and number and the reason for your call.  Thank you."  Beth simply says, "Hey hon, I just landed in Napa.  I'll try to get you in the morning.  I love you.  Until next time."  And she hangs up.

Water Ch. 85 - Something To Believe In

She still didn't know what to do with all of the flowers and fruit baskets she came into work to find on her first day back. The flowers will dry up and die, no big deal but she didn't want the fruit to go to waste. Sitting at her desk, she called for Tammy. Tammy came in, right away.

Water Ch. 84 - Glad All Over

Dressed in her 'Sunday best', Beth gets ready to head to the doctor to have her cast removed.  She's quite excited about it, since she will now be able to sit in a hot bath and relax.  It's not something that she does often, but since she broke her leg and ankle - that's all she could think about.  The air cast she'll be getting is only to be worn when she's walking.  She is almost in heaven.

Water Ch. 83 - Satellite

It's reported than Jon Bon Jovi and his on again off again girlfriend, Beth Adams, have finally parted ways.  Here's she's seen leaving him at the airport.  Sources close to the rocker tell us that Jon wouldn't choose her over his children and she refused to move to New York City.  Miss Adams is still healing from the accident that sidelined her a few weeks ago.  The source says that Jon tried to help her through the healing process and she didn't want him around, part time.  The source also stated that Beth said it was her way or the high way and the rock star hit the road.  Friends of the couple say that it will be just a matter of days before Jon drops the divorce he filed earlier this year.  Rumors are that he intends to reconcile with his wife of 20 years, Dorothea Hurley.

Water Ch. 82 - Come Back

The relationship is new and they are still learning things about one another, but the one thing that was clear was that when they are about to separate, they act like they are on each others nerves.  Beth determined that they do that to hide the pain they really feel about the impending separation.  She decided she wasn't going back east with Jon.  She wanted to stay home and recuperate and get caught up on some work.  Maybe clean her house?  Jon pleaded and begged, but in the end, he sees it's the right thing.  She does need to heal and she'll probably do it better in her own house, in her own bed.

Water Ch. 81 - Only In My Dreams

It's been a long time since Beth woke to the smell of bacon, but when she did, she loved it. Sitting up in bed she sees that her rock star isn't in bed next to her. Looking at the time and seeing that its 10am, she tries to hop out of bed. She quickly learned she wasn't hopping anywhere. Her stomach muscles, back muscles and thighs are sore, lets not forget her leg. The loving that her and Jon shared last night worked it's toll on Beth, and her body. Slowing her pace a little bit, she manages to get out of bed and into the bathroom before Jon learns that she's awake. She's in the bathroom, going to the bathroom and he walks up to her and kisses her and says, "Good Morning beautiful!"
