Water Ch. 105 - Pictures Of You

With the sun beaming in through their bedroom  window, Beth couldn't help but get too warm. Under the blankets and under the blanket of her hairy Italian, her temperature was rising and she needed to get out of the bed.  Slowly, she takes Jon's arm and places it on his side, and then she lifts his leg and is finally free to get up.

With her robe on, she makes her way down stairs where Jesse is making breakfast for Matt.  Whom is sitting at the kitchen table, holding his coffee like it was life support.  He sees Beth and says, "Good Morning."

Smiling, she responds a little louder than normal, "Good Morning Matthew, how did you sleep?"

"Come on, you're just being mean Beth." He quietly responds to her trying to ease his own aching head.  "I had way too much to drink last night and not enough to eat, man I'm never drinking again."

Beth laughs at Matt, knowing exactly how he feels.  She's been there a time or two.  She walks into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee and Jesse beat her to it.  Handing Beth the cup of coffee, she shakes her head yes when Beth asks, "Decaf?"  Jon must have made menu changes, changed shopping lists or added items because Beth hasn't mentioned that she needs Decaf to anyone.  And she smiles, knowing that Jon had taken that extra step, making the transition a little easier for Beth.

Looking out the window, she decides she'll go have her coffee on the river. Take in the morning scenery and the morning smells that the Navesink River has to offer. Reaching the rivers edge, she just stands there and watches the water flow. New Jersey is beautiful, or at least this part, she thinks to herself.

She turns around and heads back up toward the house, trying to stay out of the way of the crew that's taking the tents and the other party items down.  She sees that the grounds are a mess and that there is food still all over the place.  Walking into one of the tents, she sees that there are still gifts on one table. Being the good little helper that she is, she starts to pack up Matt's gift, tucking them into gift bags and boxes.  With one arm full, and her decaf in the other hand Beth finally makes her way to the house. Maria sees her coming to the service entrance and opens the door for her.

"Good Morning Miss Beth, how are you this morning?" Asks the head house keeper.

"Thank you Maria, I am fabulous." She tells Jon's most trusted employee, as she sets the gifts on the counter.

Matt turned around and said, "Thanks Beth, I was gonna get those when I felt better."

"There are a few more out there for you to grab.  What time did you and Tammy call it a night?" Beth is wondering on if she should go wake her assistant or let her sleep it off, like Matt needed to?  Matt shrugged his shoulders.  He had no idea what time they went to bed.

Beth helps herself to another cup of coffee and some of the fresh fruit that Jesse sliced already.  It looked as if Maria was preparing a tray for someone. Not knowing who's it was, Beth picked all the watermelon and strawberries off the plate.  She looks at Matt and gives him the shhh sign.  Matt rolls his eyes and says, "What's she going to do, tell Jon?" And he lets out a little chuckle. He wondered who dare say a 'bad' thing about Beth to Jon.

Beth works her way around to sit next to Matt. They say there and talked about his party, the guests and Tammy. He really liked her assistant.  Being the smart ass, he asks, "Can you move to New York and bring Tammy with you? I'd like to get to know her." He mumbles, at best.

Beth, the smart ass that she's been known to be, quickly responded, "Why don't you move to L.A.? What is it with you Bongiovi men and wanting the women in your life to relocate for you?" She laughs, "You need to relocate for us!"  And she gets up to walk away.

Beth is feeling restless, feeling like something isn't right - she shrugs it off to pregnancy and went on with her morning.  She made her way into Jon's office and is drawn to that picture of him and her. It's black and white and she can see the happiness on both of their faces. Jon had his arms wrapped around her, his chin on her shoulder and her head resting back on him. Beth can kind of remember the scene, but she knows the feeling. She wants a copy for her purse, both of her houses and both of her offices.  She is mesmerized by it and she can see the wholesome love that Jon feels for her.

Speaking of Jon, he walks into the office and says, "Why are you so hard to keep tabs on?  First you're here and then your here.  I seen you down by the river and now you're in my office.  Is everything okay babe?"  He walks over and gives her a kiss.  Rubs her belly and says as he leans over, "Good Morning Keegan Rose." And he kisses her belly.  Beth pulls him to her and hugs him.

"Jon, I am scared to death about all of this.  I'm scared I'm going to suck as a mother, I'm afraid I am going to suck as a wife, I'm letting my job suffer and your kids should be here with us."  She exhales, feeling better that she was able to get a little bit of that off her chest.

Jon, holding her, says, "Honey, there isn't anything that we cant get through - together.  I told you what I thought about your job.  If you want, you can be my accountant and handle all of my accounts if that will help you pass the time.  I just don't want you in the high stress of high finance.  That's too much.  Play with my money if you're bored."

She takes a step away and asks him, "Why did the kids go to your mom's house last night?  They could have stayed with us."

"My parents wanted us to have a good night with the kids, and she wanted us to be able to sleep in, catch up on some Jon and Beth time.  She said she'd have them here around 1:00. We can take them to do something, if you want.  What are your and Tammy's plans?"

Beth laughs and grabs his hand, "Matt wants me and Tammy to move here so he can get to know her."  I laughed at him and told him that you Bongiovi's want your women to relocate and I think you guys should move to LA.  Both knowing that would never happen, they each got a laugh out of it.

Jon sits in his chair and pulls Beth down to sit in his lap.  He gently leans toward her and says, "I have something for you.  I wanted to give it to you last night but decided it could wait."  And he reaches for a drawer.

"Right here on the desk, your dangerous." And she puts her arms around him and kisses his forehead.

Handing her a box, the size of a decent novel, "I made this just for you.  No one has ever seen these and it's up to you if they do."  The anticipation is growing, he truly hope she loves it as much as he does.

"Babe, what is this?" As shew starts to unwrap the unexpected gift.  Once she has the paper off, she lifts the top to the box, unfolds the tissue paper and takes out what looks like a book.  On the cover, it says FOREVER.  She set the box and tissue paper on the desk and opens the book to the first page.    It's a picture of her, sitting in the desert, on their first date.  It's black and white and it takes her breathe away.  She's sitting in a chair looking up at the stars.  The picture captured her relaxed and happy.  She flips the page.  The next one is in NYC as they are walking down the street.  She has stopped to look at a display in a window, it to in black and white.  Page after page are pictures of Beth, Beth and the kids, Beth and Tammy - pictures she never knew were taken.  "Where did these come from?  They are gorgeous.  Who took them?"  She looks them over again.  "Jon, where did you get these?"  And she kisses him and hugs him for such a beautiful gift.

"I took them.  I'm an avid closet photographer, and with such a beautiful subject, I could  take pics of you all day long."  He rubs her leg and asks, "Do you like them?

"Honey, they are beautiful.  Thank you."  She kisses him again.

He admits to her, "They were going to be a wedding present, but I had too many.  The one of you and Romeo is my favorite, or the one of you laying in the sun on the yacht - no the one of you and Romey is my favorite."

"I love it, absolutely love it.  Thank you so much!  It's a thoughtful gift and I will cherish it forever."  And she lip locks him again.  He pats her on the ass, indicating that he wanted to get up for a minute.  So she stands, lets him up and takes his seat.  He goes over to a corner and grabs a cardboard tube.

"This is the one of you and Romeo."

  1. Hmm, wondering just where Tammy slept last night, in one of the guest bedrooms or with Matt?
The photo book Jon gave her sounds beautiful. A very sentimental gift.
