Dorothea agrees to immunity in her exchange for her testimony against Dillon, for the false allegations, the false police report, the sex tape and its publication, trespassing as well as the assault and robbery of Beth, from back when before the twins died.

Their night was long, but their love was strong and Jon knew they would get through this, just like they get through everything else that life throws their way. 

Water Ch. 195 - The Right Side And Being Wronged

 

From the backseat of the cop car, Jon asks the officer that put him in the backseat, "What is this all about officer?"  With a big hint of anger in his voice.  The car pulls out of Jon's driveway and he is more than thankful that there are no reporters or fans at he end of his driveway.  It appears to Jon that all of this was hush hush, and that really makes him wonder what the hell is going on.

Hesitation, reservation and embarrassment are feelings that  Jon wasn't going to contend with right now. The love of his life was standing before him in the sexiest nightie that he has seen on her in a long time.

Jon can't believe she just asked that!?  Does she really not want to go, he wondered.  "No, you don't HAVE to go, but I would like you to.  Why wouldn't you want to come?"

Laying on the bedroom floor, with her arms above her head, Beth asks Jon, "Hey, when do you think all of this will die down?"  Jon looks over at her and he can see her nipples pushing up through her tshirt.  She laid on the floor when she was finished painting her toenails, in her pajama boxers and tshirt.

 

Water Ch. 191 - The Smokes The Ghost That Keeps You Close

 

"Hey, do you have a minute?  I need to talk to you." Jon asks, when the phone gets answered.

She can't move, she can't think - she can't believe what she just heard.  "What did you say?" she asks, her voice cracks and the lump in her throat gets worse with each second that passes.

Water Ch 189 - Scratched A Picture of a Heart on a Bullet

 

Standing in the garage, Jon and Beth kiss each other goodbye.  She hugs him as he tells her, "Don't stop at the end of the driveway.  Roll out and just go right.  Come up around the block.  If you stop, they won't let you out without surrounding the car and yelling at you for a few minutes." referring to the paparazzi that still at the end of the driveway; hoping for a comment, a look or even a gesture from anyone within the Bon Jovi camp.

Water Ch. 188 - Will YOU believe it?

 

 

It's a cool night on the river, not a cloud in the sky.  The stars are bright and the moon almost full.  The breeze is blowing through the french doors of the master suite, chilling Beth a little bit.  She walks over to the doors and pushes them so they are almost closed.  She's mesmerised by the glow of the moon bouncing off the water.  Standing there, she hears Jon say to her, "Earth to Beth.  Earth to Beth."  She turns around on her heels, laughing because he caught her day dreaming.

Water Ch. 187 - Backseat Confessionals

With Beth's hand in his, they leave Harpo studios and get into his waiting car.  Beth knows that he's pissed, but was this really the way to handle it, she wondered.  Inside the car, Jon tells the driver to take them to O'hare executive airport.  And the driver does what he's told.

Water Ch. 186 - Ask And He Won't Answer

The Oprah Winfrey interview was a closed set.  They only let in a handful of people, under the direction of Oprah.  She didn't want to take up a bunch of Jon's time, and if the audience is filled with Bon Jovi fans they will have to wait for the applause to stop and all of the I LOVE YOU JON shout outs. Then the show will take alot of time in production because all of that will need to be edited out.  It was Oprah's intention to do the interview, one on one and get Jon back to New Jersey as soon as she can.  His time is valuable, and she's about to find out just how valuable it is.

Water Ch. 185 - I Laid Down In Her Garden

"Why do you have to be so mean to me all the time, Jon?" Dorothea snaps at Jon.  

Water Ch. 184 - And From Her Lips He Drew The Hallelujah

"Oh my God Jon, look at your face." she points to the computer screen with one hand and covers her mouth with the other.  She can't let him see her smile.  "I love that face."  She bounces a little bit in the chair.  "You are so intense."

Water Ch. 183 - Sex, no drugs and Rock & Roll

 

Everyone is seated on the plane with safety belts fastened.  They all are settled in for the long flight back home.  The boys have hand held video games and Stephanie is listening to her Ipod.  Jon looks at his children and can't help but smile - even though he just boarded a plane with the worst 'scandal' of his career waiting for him on the ground.  Jon and Beth are across the aisle from the kids. 

Water Ch. 182 - Headline News...............

 

 

The family arrives at the airport, for their long fight back to the US.  Jon and Beth get out of the car first, helping the children with their carry-ons as they exited the car.  Once the 7 of them are out and on the sidewalk, they turn and see a rather large group of reporters.  Not unusual, since they weren't using a private area.

She has always loved the wake up call that she got from Romeo.  The one where he lifts her eye lids and says, "Bef."  Today wasn't any different.  He pulled her lids up and said, "Bef, wake up."  She smiled and opened her eyes.
 

Water Ch. 180 - Unfolding Like A Mystery

 

 

With almost two weeks alone, Beth thought that her and Jon were better than ever. They had reached a point in their relationship where she felt she could talk to him about anything and he seemed to feel the same with her.  Their mini vacation was filled with lots of music, many friends, multiple winery tours and priceless time alone. 

Water Ch. 179 - Say Goodbye To Yesterday

 

 

"Where do you think you're going?"  He says, as he gets up to chase her down.  She's stumbling trying to get her panties back on, while she tries to get away.  She's laughing, watching him chase after her with his boxers at his ankles.

 

Water Ch. 178 - Friends Are Friends, Forever?

Beth looks in Richie's direction and says, "This isn't going to be good.  If someone was in here, he'll find out who it is."

 

Richie nods and says, "No doubt."  and takes a seat on the sofa.

Water Ch. 177 - Damned If You Love Me

Seeing his best friend, his brother in the back of the room infuriated Jon.  Not only because of the moment that he and Beth shared, but because he was in town and didn't call Jon.  Granted, Richie wasn't working and he's free to go where he wants, but Jon has a feeling that Richie came to try and start some trouble.
