Hello....from the Water :-)

Having a terrible memory, I have to refer back to the previous chapters and just found myself reading Chapter 52.  Chapter 52 is LONG.

Water Ch. 245 - Secrets That We'll Take To The Grave

 

 

  

 

Richie jumps up and rushes to the door.  His first thought is Dalton, and he mentally psych's himself up to punch the asshole in the face.

Her pain was almost too much to take. From the physical abuse she had just suffered through, at the hands of her ex Dalton and through the emotional mess that she is now, it's being made worse by her muscle tension and her shivering.

The plane trip home was pretty uneventful, so much in fact that Beth dozed off.  When it was time to land, the flight attendant woke her so she could prepare for landing.

Driving her to the airport was a tough thing for him to do.  He had just spent the last few weeks with her, in Europe, but now it's time for her to go home.

Mornings are a bitch, especially when you're a night person.  This morning was particularly tough on both Jon and Beth.

From under the stage Beth could hear that the fans of Greece were getting the show that was long overdue.  They were screaming, cheering and chanting, not wanting any of it to end.

For the last two days, Beth has enjoyed her time away and her time alone.  Other than ordering room service, she has talked to no one. She didn't want to talk to anyone.

They guys landed and were shuttled from the airport as fast as the drivers could get them to the hotel.

The sun and the sand was exactly what Beth needed.  She took a deep breath as she sat on the beach, looking out over the families playing in the water.

She watches him doze off and that gives her a little bit of comfort, however, she can hear his words ringing in his ears.  He can't be her friend, he can't let her back into his life.

Beth sets the alarm for 4:am and lays down to tries to get some rest.  She knows that she can sleep on the plane, but she is mentally and emotionally exhausted. 

Water Ch. 232 - Some Blonde Gives Me Nightmares

 

 

"I'm here due to a layover.  Can you imagine my surprise when I ran in to you downstairs?  I heard that you moved to midtown.  This isn't midtown."

Water Ch. 231 - Hoping It Would Never End

 

 

"Does Dalton make you happy?" he says to her as she takes a step out the door.  She stops, walks back in and closes the door most of the way.

Water Ch. 230 - Never Say Goodbye?

"I'll listen.  Go ahead." Beth says to Jon as he takes his place back on the couch.

Pressing the button for the 10th floor, Beth can feel the knots in her stomach getting tighter.
