Was all he was able to pen, before he broke down and really cried.

He missed his helicopter and the call to reschedule because he fell asleep.  When he woke up and figured it out, he didn't care.  He wasn't ready to leave.  He climbed up into Beth's spot and let the scent of her overwhelm his senses.  The pictures were on is pillow and all he could do was look at them.  His heart is broken and he doesn't know how to handle it.  I know she's gone and she'll never come back.  I pushed too hard, he says to himself.

 

He lays there long enough, he realizes the need to get some of his feelings on paper.  The feelings he's feeling are real and are very raw.  Getting up, he looks around for where there might be some paper.  Looking around the master suite, he sees no logical place for paper in his bedroom.  He went down stairs and pulled his notebook out of his bag.  After he grabs a cup of coffee, he sits at the table in the breakfast nook and starts to write........

The Mercedes couldn't get her out of the county fast enough. Looking at the gauges, she realizes that she needs gas, and that pisses her off.  She didn't want to stop, she wanted to get out of town, out of New York.  This time, leaving hurt very bad.  She didn't want it to end, she didn't want it to end like this.  What the hell is wrong with him?

 

After she gases up the Mercedes, she goes in to pay and gets a bottle of water.  Looking around, she thinks to herself, I should grab a snack.  We have to eat.  She walks around, scoping out what would be the best thing to eat, that was good for her.  Her eyes fell upon a beef jerky display and Beth found her snack.  She loved it, even though it was too salty for her.  She had to have it.  As she was paying for her things, she noticed a map on the wall.  With her change in hand, she heads over and looks for the YOU ARE HERE on the map.  When she realizes that she is almost to Albany, she feels a little glimpse of happiness...I can get a flight out of Albany.
