Water Ch. 48 - Let It Rock 2005

Madison Square Garden was sold out and there were women as far as the eye could see and they all wanted to get rocked.  Bon Jovi all but guarantees a good time at their shows.  The album was a huge hit and was very well received by the media and the critics.  It never gets old selling out the same venue time after time, especially when you're so close to home.  And it was even more special when you have that special someone with you, in your dressing room.

Jon was stretching and getting ready to give the performance of a lifetime because he had that special someone with him, and he wanted to have fun tonight.  With his trainer twisting him into a pretzel, Jon asks Beth, "Do you want a seat out front, or do you want to watch it from back here?"

"I think I might like to watch it from out front, is that alright? I like to watch you in action from the front." She jokes with him like watching from the back is bad?

"No that's fine. Let me know, ouch damn it Tom, when you want to go out. I'll have them take you." Tom was Jon's personal trainer and massage therapist on the road. It seems that Tom stretched Jon a little too far. But Jon knew it was for his benefit. Tom continued working Jon pretty hard while he and Beth talked.

"How do you think the talk went with Dorothea today? Should we have done anything different?" He asked Beth an he really wanted to know what she thought.

"I think we need to talk about it later. Now isn't the time. Let your guy get you limber so you don't pull a muscle or hurt something, cause then you would be of no use to me later" she smiles at him and without even asking, he knows what she means. Beth gets up and gets a glass of wine. The room they are in is Jon's dressing room and this time there is wine in there, when alcohol isn't allowed backstage. But if Beth wanted it, it was there. And she wanted some. Getting her glass of wine, she turned to Jon and asked of he wanted anything.

"Yeah, some tea would be great. Thanks babe. Ginseng if they stocked any."

She pours her rock star a cup of tea and stands next to him and waits until Tom is done working Jon's legs. Handing Jon the tea as he sets up, Beth asked "Can I get you anything else?"

He puts an arm around her waist and draws her in and he says the only thing missing is a kiss. She enters his personal space and kisses him. Tom was quick to say "Jon you need to finish here. We still have your arms and back. Take a sip and roll over."

"Alright, alright - I just needed some loving while you're killing me!" Jon hands Beth his tea and he lays on his stomach. Tom massages his muscles first to get oxygen into the tissue. Beth watches as Jon is contorted some more. He has the 'oh god this hurts so bad and feels so good' look on his face. Beth is watching, thinking oh that looks nice and relaxing. Tom finishes up and excuses him self after telling Beth it was nice to meet her. It's now Beth and Jon alone in his dressing room. Jon may have been in pleasurable pain, but he could see that something was troubling Beth.

"Hey babe, what's on your mind? What's up?" He is really concerned. He goes over and sits next to her and grabs her knee cap, knowing that tickled her a little bit. "What's going on?"

She pulls away slightly and quickly tells him, "Nothing."  And she knows she's not a very good liar.  She's hoping that he is distracted enough to leave it alone so they can talk about it later.  She really doesn't want to talk about it before the show.  "Why do you ask?", looking at him like he's silly.

"For one, you pulled away from me.  What's going on?  I can see that something is on your mind."  He reaches out and grabs her hand and she grabs back, wanting him to know that she is okay, and everything will be fine.

"I'm just tired, I guess.  There isn't anything wrong, will you stop worrying?" she moves in and kisses him.  "Everything is fine!" and she kisses him again.  He throws his arms around her and holds her tight.  She melts into him, loving the way he feels on her.  And again, his smell.

"What do you want to do after the show?  Tomorrow we are at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.  We can go up tonight or tomorrow, it's up to you." he stands up and grabs the towel off the masseuse table that Tom left in there, and wipes his face a little bit.  He needs to get in the shower now that he's all limber and feeling alive.  "I have to shower.  Want to join me? he asks, with hope in his voice.

"No silly, I don't have anything with me to redo my hair and make up." she tells him.  He must have forgotten that she left everything at her apartment when they stopped there before going to meet Dorothea and the children.

"Okay, I'm going to take a quick shower, you can come talk to me and keep me company."  He says, while he digs through his bag for clean pants.  He's looking for casual pants to wear until it's time to get dressed for the show.

"I can do that." she says with a smile on her face, knowing she's going to see him naked again.  She liked seeing him naked, really like it.  They head into the shower area of his dressing room and he strips in front of her, doing a little bit of the hip wiggle, the dance that drives the women crazy.  It's much different when you see it naked, than when it's on stage.  Beth loves it both ways, but appreciates the naked dance so much more.  Jon reaches in and turns the water on, waiting for it to get hot.  Beth sits on a towel cupboard and looks her rock star up one side and down the other.  She is still in a bit of disbelief that she is here with him, and he wants her here.

The shower is uneventful, because they both knew they didn't have the time or the privacy.  Jon is still in the shower when David busts in to pick on Jon for being in the newspaper, again.  The two men make jokes and Jon points out that 'living life is what gets you in the newspaper.'  It seems lately that Jon's new lover is the hottest thing around, yet no one has contacted her?  And there has been very little printed ABOUT her.  There are pictures of her and of her and him, but the information is pretty scarce.  Beth and Jon like it that way.

Sitting in the area that Jon has curtained off with his couches, TV and coffee table the 3 of them sit around and talk for the few minutes that they have before show time.  David asks, "Beth are you going to Gillette with us tomorrow?"

Surprised by the question, she answers David honestly.  "I don't know yet, why?  Do you want me to go Dave?"  She knows  that he is a perpetual smart ass, and dishes it out before she has to take it.  "Do you want to be seen with me too, so you can be in the newspaper?"  She actually has herself and Jon laughing at this point.  The three of them get along great, Beth gets along with the whole band actually.  She has yet to meet David and Tico's other halves and she isn't to eager to have that happen, just yet.  Getting through meeting Dorothea and Jon's children this early still had her reeling a little bit.

"I just wondered if you were going to go up with us and then hang out?  That's all - we have a ton of fun up there in the Patriots backyard."  David's response wasn't even funny.  Beth felt a little let down that the banter didn't pick up.  Maybe another time?

There's a knock on the door, it opens and Obie yells, "15 minutes boys!"  Pulls the door closed and isn't seen again until after the show.

David stands up, says "Beth it was great to see you.  Hope to see at Gillette, and I have to say that now because Jon likes to leave before the rest of us, after a show.  So, I won't see you after the show to tell you."  And David says all of this in his best Jon impression.  Jon isn't thinking it's funny at this point, they have 10 minutes to show time and David wants to be a Joker.   David leans over, gives Beth a hug and says, "It's really great having you around.  Hope to see you again real soon."  He turns to leave and fist bumps Jon and Jon says, "I'll see you in 18 minutes."  And David leaves.

Jon heads over to where is 'show clothes' are laid out and gets dressed.  There is another knock at the door, and it's Paul - Jon's headset technician.  Jon puts his ear pieces in, let's Paul hook the receiver on his pants and gets ready to leave.  Beth reaches out a stops him and tells Jon,  "I guess I'll go too, giving you a few minutes to yourself.  Can Paul take me where I need to be?"  Jon looks a little caught off guard by this.

"Yes, of course."  He's tying his tennis shoes, and looks up at Paul.  "That's fine.  Paul will you take her to the front row, please? Mike knows where she belongs."  Looking at Beth, he winks.  Once he finishes tying his shoe, he walks over to her and hugs and kisses her.  "I'll see you in a few minutes.  Thanks for coming."  He smacks her on the ass and as she turns to leave.

Paul walks her out to Mike, after handing her credentials, he says to Mike "Jon says you know where she belongs?"

"I do.  Hey, how are you? "  Jon's head security guy recognizes her and makes he feel welcome.  He escorts her to her seat and tells her, "I'll come get you just before quick change if you want me to?"  Knowing that Jon will want her down there, but not sure she wants to go - he leaves it up to Beth.

"Yeah, that will be great.  Thanks Mike."  Beth takes her seat and waits for the lights to go down and the music to stop.  Cause what follows that is magical and a high that you can't get anywhere else.   Whether you are sleeping with the lead singer or not.  A Bon Jovi show is amazing on many levels, and Beth was getting excited for her chance to make it down into the quick change room.

Bon Jovi hit the stage and the crowd went crazy.  Song after song, hit after hit Jon made love to 20,000 women like he did, night after night.  And one very special one of them women was going 'home' with him.  Or so he thought.
